To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

This is our sweet Candy. She has been through a rough situation, but is finally recovering from a bad case of Demodetic infestation (Mange). When we first encountered Candy she was behind 'bars' inside a home which had been abandoned. She was rescued, placed under quarantined and has been in San Diego since late October. She has been under medical treatment for Demodex and is doing great. She had no hair when she was first rescued and now we can all see the huge improvement. She needs a home that will continue with the treatment. The group will provide all the medications necessary in order for her to recover competely.

Candy is a great little dog who is happy to be around people and dogs alike. She is crate trained, walks well on the leash, and enjoys the occasional car ride. Candy is extremely lovable and loves to sit on laps. If she keeps up her recovery she should have a full coat before Spring arrives and we all know she is going to look more beautiful than ever! Look at those sweet eyes. She is just a great dog.
