To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Excellent with ALL humans. Has not lived around children we believe she would be a safe companion and enjoy children.
Great with dogs.
OK with cats. Some better than others. Lives and interacts with some ARWOB adoptable kitties. Happy to answer questions about this to determine if Winnie would be well matched for family with cats.

Hello my name is Winnie!

I was rescued from Baja Mexico (Tijuana) by a lovely animal rescuer who happened to be driving and saw me struggling to get away from the vagrant who had me tied by a rope to his rolling cart. She sensed I was in trouble and she stopped to offer cash for me and freed me from that life. I was rescued in February 2022 and have been in san Diego at casa de ARWOB since my rescue because I sadly have not found a foster or adopter. I am an active, happy, and outgoing teenager and can't wait to meet you!
