To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Zoe!

Zoe was found roaming near an agricultural area about 10 miles sound of Ensenada Mexico. The daughter of one of our Indy rescuers spotted Zoe outside the area where she worked. It was a cold and rainy night and Zoe was soaked! The kind woman took her into her office and called her mother to see if she would foster her. The next day Zoe was taken to the vet for a much needed bath and to receive deworming treatment. Her kind rescuer looked on social media to see if they could find her owners, but no one came forward to claim her. Therefore, they decided to get her ready for adoption.

Zoe is a very mellow little girl. While living with her rescuers in Mexico, she got along very well with their 2 other dogs. She is very obedient and sweet. Now that she is in San Diego, she would love to find a forever home of her own where she will get the love she deserves! We will update her bio once we know more about her personality.
