Meet Vita!
This little lady’s name is Latin for “life” and she is certainly loving life now that she found refuge with a kind rescuer in Baja. She was found as a stray dog, running among traffic, looking lost and afraid. She was taken in from the streets and offered safety, love, and daily FOOD, so she is as happy as she can be.
Now, we just need to find a foster in San Diego to help her find a forever family of her own! Can you help us find a foster or adopter in the USA for sweet Vita?!
Vita is a German Shorthair Pointer/English Pointer mix. She is already a young adult at approximately 45 pounds and 3 years old. She is sweet, docile, and friendly. She enjoys both dogs and people alike (she has not been exposed to cats or little creatures yet). She gets along well with 3 other dogs her size and 3 adult humans, who she has been living with. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate. She has had no accidents, so we can say she is housebroken too. She loves play time and walks on a leash.
Vita is scheduled to be sterilized in San Diego in the 92104 zip code area on Tuesday, October 18th. This date is FIRM and cannot be changed. Therefore, adopters must live locally to San Diego and be available to transport their newly adopted pup to and from the vet clinic for her sterilization surgery. The surgery is included in her adoption fee.
