To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Arty!

Arty has an amazing persona. He was rescued off the streets of Ensenada by a good Samaritan when they noticed the pup wandering the streets looking for food. He has an old eye injury and it is obvious it will need to be removed. Arty is now in San Diego boarding at the vet clinic until we can have the surgery done mid-April. Arty is a typical happy-go-lucky Lab mix pup, who loves people and dogs. He has not been tested with cats, but with his personality we think he would be just fine.

We are looking for an adoptive family who can offer him a forever home after he has his eye enucleated. We are also looking for a foster home, so if you have cats at home, perhaps you'd like to foster-to-adopt Arty first to make sure he would be a great addition to the family. Arty is the life of the party and will be an amazing friend and companion!
