Meet The siblings Milly, Miny and Meny!
Milly is the largest and tallest of the 3 siblings and is currently 29 pounds. She has already been spayed and is being fostered with another ARWOB dog named Bes. They are being fostered in a home with 3 small children and Milly is wonderful with dogs and cats as well. She has a scruffy Terrier/Poodle face, but also looks a lot like a Labrador mix. She will likely reach 40-50 pounds when full grown.
Her two siblings, Miny and Meny are being fostered together and are also great with other dogs and cats. They would both likely be good with children as well. These two siblings are 1/2 the size of Milly and are only 12-15 pounds, with more of a Terrier/Poodle coat. They will likely reach 25-35 pounds when they are full grown.
The 3 pups were found together wandering around searching for food near a clandestine dumpster back in December. They are now all ready for adoption! We can only guess what their breeds might be, but they probably have some Lab/Terrier/Poodle in their DNA. Given they are Baja dogs, it’s anyone’s guess, as everything and anything goes with doggy DNA in Baja. If you have allergies and you are looking for a hypoallergenic or low shedding dog, we do not recommend that you apply to adopt these siblings. We cannot guarantee that they will be hypoallergenic or if they will shed a lot.
We are looking for adopters that are willing and have the time for dog training. They will need house training and adopters should expect all that comes with the upbringing of a puppy, including the training they need to become the best they can be!
Meny and Miny have a sterilization appointment on 2/21/2022 in the North Park area (92104) of San Diego. The sterilization surgery is already included in their adoption fee. This means priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure the adopter is able to take them to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick them up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until their sterilization surgery has been completed to see if they are still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
If you are ready to adopt TODAY, please submit an online application at www.arwob.org right away! We will contact you within 3 days for a phone interview. If all goes well, we can hopefully schedule a meet and greet following the phone interview, which will occur in the 92117 area. Don’t wait! Apply today!
