|
These pups were born in Ensenada, Mexico. Their mother is owned by a neighbor of a local dog rescuer, who happened to find out when one of the puppies wondered off and into her yard. She realized the family had 11 pups and the mother dog. She offered to help since she volunteers for a rescue group. She was also able to get the mother dog spayed.
We are looking for both foster families and permanent adopters for these cuties. Priority will be given to adopters, but we are looking to find them a foster home ASAP, as their current foster will be unable to continue as of Thursday, 5/27/21. They are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and they both crate trained, but not yet potty trained.
These pups will be large breed dogs that will likely reach the 50-80 pound range when full grown, but could be in the 60-70 pound range like the mother dog. We have no information about the father dog. They are very sweet dogs, but true to their breed, they are ACTIVE and will need an adopter that is ready for puppy training and house training.
These pups can meet potential adopters right away. If all goes well with their meet and greet, they can potentially go home that day. However, they will be sterilized in the 92104 area of San Diego on Monday, June 28, 2021. This means priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure they are able to take their new pup to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick them up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until their sterilization surgery has been completed to see if they is still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
If you are interested in fostering or adopting one of these cuties, please complete an online application at www.arwob.org. Don’t wait!
