To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.
Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.
Also remember to review importantevent information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Flounder!
Flounder, aka Mr. Personality, is seeking a home with furry friends he can be BFFs with because he loves the companionship of other cats and cat-friendly dogs. Flounder is very playful, social, and a brave explorer. He is basically like a dog in a cat's body! He loves to wrestle, chase, and romp around with any cat of any age who will play with him. Flounder has also become good friends with the foster dogs he resides with and especially loves playtime with his Chihuahua-terrier mix buddy named Alba, as well as other cat friendly dogs. This goofy boy will take breaks from his silly antics to seek out human attention for pets and napping next to you on the couch or bed.
This gem of a boy must go to a home where he will have playful friends to get into shenanigans with or be adopted with an ARWOB buddy; he would not be happy as the only pet in the household. He has not met any young children, but given his social and fun-loving personality, we expect he would love respectful kids who can entertain him with lots of playtime and affection.
Flounder was rescued off the streets of Ensenada, Mexico as a young lad. You might have noticed in his photos that his right ear has a special "crinkle." We are not sure if he was born with the crinkle or if his ear healed that way from an injury as a kitten in Mexico. Regardless, he has no issues with that ear and we think it gives Mr. Personality even more personality!
