Atlas is such a sweet puppy. Excellent outgoing sweet personality who is great with all dogs cats and children. She is crate trained and is ready to find her forever home! This chiweenie is a total love bug.
Marvel is your typical Baja blend, a total mutt who looks like a mini shepherd at under 20lbs, already full grown. She resembles a chi/rat terrier/shep? Not sure, but she sure is cute and with the sweetest disposition. She was owned by a retiree in Tijuana who used to live in San Diego and now lives in Tijuana. We saw her roaming the streets and eating from a trash bin so we followed her one day to where she lived and spoke to her owner...then found out she had pups, They hadn't spayed her or their other dogs for lack of financial resources. We offered to sponsor their dogs’ sterilizations and take the pups when ready. A month later, we were contacted we had to move the pups ahead of time because she could no longer have them there. We moved them to a foster a few blocks away, leaving mom behind as the plan was to sterilize and leave her with them per their request. However, she kept escaping while trying to get to her babies and the pups’ foster decided to just keep mom under her care as well. After a couple of talks, the owner opted to relinquish her to us understanding it wasn't safe for her to be able to roam the streets of Mexico for her safety.
The pups are now in San Diego and turned 2 months old on 6/5. We would love to find a foster for mom and another foster for the pups since they are all eating and drinking on their own. We believe the pups will be larger medium size dogs since they now weigh 2-4lbs at 2 months.
They are your typical pups who are social, loving and very playful. They will be ready for adoption next week the week of 6/10. Please submit an applicaiton for adoption online at arwob.org
and if you would like to foster to adopt mom, please submit an applicaiton for adoption as well, thank you.
