To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Alonzo, Handsome, and Guapo!

These babies came to us when they were just under 2 pounds back in May 2019. We have NO IDEA why they are still with us! They pretty purrfect!

This adorable tuxedo trio are nothing but fun and love! The boys are growing up in the adoption centers and we hope we can find them a home soon for their families to enjoy their younger stages. They are now at the petsmart in clairemont where you can stop by any time to see them, or submit a cat adoption application online to schedule a meet and greet @ARWOB.org

These boys are very similar in personality and behavior, volunteers have nothing but great things to say about them. ALL 3 are great with dogs, cats and children. Perfect active, loving, handsome boys!

ARWOB prefers to adopt kittens under 6 months of age to families who have other feline family members or planning on adopting 2 cats together. 2 kittens from the same litter or 'mix and match' with other of the ARWOB kittens. Thinking outside the box, adopting an adult cat and a kitten together would help the forgotten adult kittens while also enjoying the VERY short time frame a kitten will stay small. Remember kittens will reach full size within 10 months of age, kittens are not just a NOW adoption, but a LIFETIME adoption which is a 10-20 year commitment.

The boys don't need to be adopted together, as we previously mention as long as there is another cat in the home or if you like to adopt a different friend with them could be a younger kitten or an adult.
