To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Guero!

This sweet terrier was rescued off the streets of Tijuana in February 2019. He was searching through trash for his next meal and when approached was the happiest little dude. We knew this flea/tick infested, dirty boy deserved a chance for safety and love. He is fostered in the 92111 area and we can schedule meets and greets once an adoption application is submitted.

Guero (Spanish for light skin or blonde) would be a fantastic easy going companion. He has been around dogs and mostly does great. He may have some issues behind a barrier ei if he is in his crate or behind a fence when certain dogs (specifically males) walk by. He also doesn't tolerate in your face puppies...he will put them in their place, but easy going, no funny business/personality dogs would be great. He is living in a home around dogs, hasn't exhibited aggression, but has not been left unsupervised with them. He is crate trained and is a total love bug.
It doesn't seem that he sheds much, but he is an absolute MUTT - you would need to meet him if you have any allergies or looking for non shedding breeds.
