To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Tulip is an adorable little Hound/whippet/Small terrier mix (so we think) she was rescued in June alomg with 2 litter mates from an empty lot, more of a clandestine dump were they were tossed like trash. Their rescue pictures show how fragile and in need of help these pups were.

We think Tulip will be a lab look alike dog but much smaller in size. She is currently approx 5 months and 15lbs, we think she will grow up to be in the 30-40lb range. She can be shy at first with new dogs and people but warms up quickly.

She is good with cats and dogs.She really is the easiest puppy and we love her. Let me know

FOSTER FAMILY UPDATE 9/10/18:

Tulip is a shy girl that if given time warms up to be an amazing puppy. She is crate trained and potty trained. Loves to play fetch. She is great with kids and does well even when an entire soccer team surrounds her at practices. She almost never barks but will if a stranger is approaching her familys home. She knows how to sit and lay down. She also knows how to sit at a closed door before it opens she has good manners. She will be an amazing addition to anyones family. She does get carsick sometimes but is getting better with that too. She does better in a crate for car rides.

Tulip will need more puppy socialization on leash around dogs and socialization with people, hence a family willing, able and interested in enrolling into puppy training would be ideal. Not something one can do from home but the exposure to the world is important.
