Cola is an adorable what we guess Patterdale terrier, which looks very much like a small breed labrador! She certainly has the energy of a lab or a terrier. When we say terrier, we aren't talking about the adorable bully breeds, but more of the smaller breed terriers. She was found in the streets of Ensenada and rescued during the summer. She came to us already with a small/docked tail look and we believe she was born like that. We named her Cola (tail in Spanish) and of course because of her color. She is ALL life, she wants to please people, and wants to run and play with her dog friends. She is a typical teen pup who is active but not crazy. She is crate trained. We are not sure if she is house trained, but we can say she is likely not going to go potty every 20min like small pups do. She would do best with an adopter who will continue to do crate training until fully house broken and who would be interested in signing Cola up with puppy training for basic training in order to have an amazing new family member.
Cola is currently 24 pounds and likely will grow up to be in the 35-40 pound range when full grown.
She is not a big barker but will guard bark if something scares or concerns her and her bark can be pretty mighty!
She is getting the hang of the leash and does well in car rides. Her best friend is an adorable terrier mix named Alex. She will do well in a home with other dogs or an adopter with time for a young active teen. She can stay home alone; so far she does well in her crate alone during the day but is active every day in the yard.
