Farinelli, aka Mr. F., was relinquished as a 7 weeks old sick puppy to an independant rescuer who reached out to ARWOB for his convalescence once he received the vet care he needed to stabilize him: he had been taken away from moma too early, wasn't fully weened and was under-socialized.
This little guy is now fully weened (fully transitionned to dry kibble), healthy, and primo-vaccinated; he will be available for adoption as soon as he is neutered.
In the meanwhile, Farinelli has been learning the ropes of living with humans and other pets in his foster family and he is making great progress. He is now fully socialized with other dogs (big and small), cats and even bunnies; as for humans Farinelli loves everyone, big and small.
He is well on his way to being potty trained (he goes in the yard or uses the pee pad if there is one available close-by) and will not soil his crate at night. He is however not really fond of the crate (although he now goes on his own to his open door crate when he wants some quiet time to take a nap) or of being alone and can be pretty vocal about both; he would therefore probably do best in a household with another dog, owners who are home often and can give him the attention he needs.
Farinelli is still a puppy who is discovering the world, which means that he is high energy, overly enthusiatic, curious/inquisitive, often testing the limits/boundaries and has still much to learn. He still very much acts crazy on a leash and, considering he already has a strong personality, his adopter(s) will probably benefit from a couple puppy training classes to make sure this adorable munchkin (who knows how cute he is and is shameless about using it to his advantage) doesn't delude himself in thinking he is the boss in his forever home.
