To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Ireland and her trio of red headed babies, Dylan, Sean, and Cameron!

This beautiful young mother and her babies were found as strays in Tijuana and their rescuer brought them to ARWOB so that all members of this family could find forever homes. Ireland was a great mother to her babies and, once they were weaned, all 3 were adopted. Momma Ireland is a beautifully marked calico.

Ireland is a sweetheart........calm, easy going, and very affectionate. She LOVES being petted and scratched under her chin. She is very much a people kitty, but gets along with other cats as well. Ireland is playful and loves playing with ALL of the toys....from scratching boards, to circular tracks with balls, any toy that is available! She is a delight to watch because she gets so much enjoyment out of playing! She will be a great family member.
