Meet Mama Ginger and her six beautiful kittens, Jujube, Bootsy, Apricot, Mango, Loquat, and Kumquat!
After being rescued, this sweet family has been living in a loving foster home until they were ready to be adopted. Their foster mom has this to say about them:
"Mama Ginger is a young mother - maybe a year old or so - and she has been an excellent mother! She is also a very friendly girl who loves to be petted and will sit in your lap. She has excellent litter box habits and uses the scratching post. She needs to gain some weight, which she will do once she doesn't have to feed the little ones anymore. Although she has not been with cats other than her babies, we feel that, temperamentally, she will be fine with other kitties. She does not like dogs.
Update on Mama Ginger 6/10: Mama Ginger's foster mom has this to say about this sweet girl: "
Mama Ginger is going to the ARWOB adoption center at PetSmart today where she will be around new ARWOB kitty friends. Her job as a mama is done and it's time for the next chapter in her life. She is a sweet lap cat, only about 1 year old, still likes to play, but mostly likes to cuddle".
There are 5 orange tabby boy kittens and 1 tabby or "torbie" female. One of the tabby boys has four white socks and we call him "Bootsy". The other 4 boys, Apricot, Mango, Loquat and Kumquat, are really hard to tell apart, so we put little temporary black dots on their ears! We call the little girl Jujube. They are all healthy and happy, playful and well socialized kittens. Apricot and Mango are just a bit more outgoing than the rest.
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful calico girl, please fill out an adoption application online. She is dreaming of finding her forever home. If you are considering adopting more than one cat, you might consider adopting one of Mama Ginger's babies along with her so that they can keep each other company when you are not home.
